Demolition, in all of its various aspects, can be a very hazardous occupation. When you are knocking structures down or dealing with hazardous materials there is the potential for things to go wrong.

In accordance with this, “Bromley Demolition” is heavily committed to the “Health and Safety” in the workplace of its clients, employees, the public and the environment.

Our “Health & Safety” officer is Gary Bishop and he puts into place the “Health & Safety” plan for any specific contract. An outline of this is generally:
Pre health and safety plans
Risk Assessment
Method statement
CDM Regulations
Approval by the client

These are all included as part of the “Programme of Work”. This is approved at a pre-site meeting and as work proceeds there are frequent visits by our “Health & Safety” officer. This is to ensure that our work is carried out to a high standard and within government regulations.

All of “Bromley Demolition’s” employees are supplied with current PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to safely carry out our contracts. Our employees are also trained to CSCS, CPCS & CCDO standards in with PPE.
